The Giftproof progress block shows shoppers how much more they need to spend to get the gift, and tells them when they have unlocked it.
Adding the block
In the theme editor, add the Giftproof progress block to your product page or cart page. On some themes, such as Dawn, add it to the cart page through an Apps section. The block needs the Free gift app embed turned on under App embeds, and an Online Store 2.0 theme.
When several gifts are running, the block promises the nearest gift the cart has not reached yet. It stops promising a gift once it finds the gift sold out (it looks up the gift's stock when it first shows it, then again after 10 minutes).
Built in text in 8 languages
Leave the message fields empty to use the built in text in the shopper's language:
- Before the gift is unlocked: "Spend {amount} more to get {gift} free"
- Once it is unlocked: "You unlocked {gift}! It is in your cart."
The built in text is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese. The checkout message that asks a shopper to remove a gift that no longer qualifies uses the same 8 languages.
Your own words
- Message before the gift is unlocked: use {amount} for the amount left and {gift} for the gift name.
- Message once the gift is unlocked: use {gift} for the gift name.
The gift name is the gift product's name as it is in your admin (with the variant, if it has one). Your own text is shown as you write it, in every language. The app does not translate it or the gift name, also inside the built in text.
Style
- Show progress bar: on by default.
- Bar color: the color of the bar.
- Text color: leave empty to use your theme's text color.
